Daily activity
A day-by-day view of everything HootDM did on your behalf
Toggle between 15 and 30 day windows to spot trends before they become a problem — a sudden drop in acceptances is worth noticing early.
Why a connection funnel matters more than a single conversion number
Knowing how many replies you got last month tells you almost nothing about why. A funnel view — sent, connected, messaged, won — shows exactly which stage is leaking, which is the only useful starting point for actually improving results. A campaign converting poorly because connection requests aren’t getting accepted needs a completely different fix than one where connections are fine but messages go unanswered.
Reading your funnel
- Sent — total connection requests sent in the selected period.
- Connected — how many of those were accepted. A low rate here usually points to targeting or connection-note copy, not messaging.
- Messaged — how many connected leads received an initial message. This should track closely with Connected, since messaging happens automatically once a connection is confirmed.
- Won — how many messaged leads replied. This is where message quality, template variants, and follow-up timing show up most clearly.
A steep drop between any two stages is a signal to look at that specific part of your sequence rather than treating the campaign as a single pass/fail result.
Daily activity trends
Beyond the funnel, a day-by-day activity view shows what HootDM actually did each day — connection requests sent, messages sent, replies detected — across a 15 or 30 day window. This is mainly useful for catching problems early: a sudden multi-day drop in accepted connections is worth investigating (a LinkedIn account issue, a paused campaign, a targeting change) well before it shows up as a disappointing monthly total.
Common questions
Does the funnel update in real time?
It reflects the latest synced connection and reply data — see the Connections & reply sync page for how often that updates.
Can I see analytics per campaign, not just overall?
Yes — each campaign has its own lead breakdown alongside the account-wide dashboard view.
What counts as "Won"?
A lead that replied to a message during the sequence — the same Won status used throughout the product, including in your lead lists and campaign detail views.
